Central approvals
When a policy holds an agent's action for approval on a site, the site reports it to the hub. Approvals lists every waiting action across your teams' sites, oldest first, with the site, agent, ability, and summary.
Deciding#
Owners and reviewers select Approve or Deny, with an optional note. The decision reaches the site on its next report, usually within a minute while approvals are waiting. The site then decides through its own approval service, as the administrator who connected the site:
- approver routing, expiry, and a decision already made on the site all still apply;
- the site's approval history records "Decided in Agent Warden hub by" the reviewer's name, followed by the note;
- an approved action runs on the site, and the hub shows whether it succeeded.
When the site says no#
The hub shows the site's reason, and the action can be decided again while the site still reports it waiting, or decided on the site:
- Not an approver: the site's approver routing does not include the administrator who connected the site.
- Already decided or expired: someone decided it on the site first, or it expired.
- Connected administrator is no longer an administrator: reconnect the site as a current administrator.
Only one decision per approval is on its way at a time, so two reviewers cannot both send one.
