Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT connects to remote MCP servers as custom connectors, on plans that include them.

  1. In WordPress, create an agent and copy its token (Install).
  2. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  3. Fill in:
    • Server URL: https://example.com/wp-json/agentwarden/mcp
    • Authentication: custom header
    • Header: Authorization
    • Value: Bearer <YOUR_TOKEN>
  4. Save, then enable the connector in a chat.

Your site must be reachable from the internet over HTTPS for ChatGPT to connect.

Check it works#

Ask ChatGPT to list your recent posts, then look for the request in Agent Warden → Activity.
